Depending on the project and the agreed arrangement, your contribution may be transferred directly to the nonprofit organization implementing the project or handled through an authorized project administration arrangement. Before any payment, we will clearly identify the legal recipient, purpose of the transfer, applicable fees, and how the funds will reach the project.
SenseUs may receive an agreed fundraising, administration, or project-support fee for its work. The applicable arrangement can differ by project and donation route. Any fee affecting your contribution will be explained before the donation is confirmed, so you can make an informed decision.
The documents available depend on the legal recipient, donation method, and the tax rules in your country. We can confirm what acknowledgement, receipt, agreement, or project documentation can be provided before payment. SenseUs does not guarantee that every contribution will qualify for a tax deduction.
Reporting depends on the project, contribution size, and agreed partnership terms. Available updates may include project news, photographs, activity summaries, expenditure information, or an individual report for larger donations and corporate partnerships. The expected reporting format and schedule will be agreed in advance where appropriate.
To protect donors, partner organizations, beneficiaries, and the integrity of our projects, we may carry out proportionate identity, organization, source-of-funds, sanctions, or reputational checks. Additional information is generally requested only when required by the donation amount, payment provider, banking partner, jurisdiction, or level of risk. Information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
